SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

The content must be 1) Erotic, 2) “Fresh”, and 3) Accessible on the Web. And NOT created by AI.

1) Erotic: this means the overall rating of the work should be “high heat,” “explicit,” “X”, “mature” although every chapter in a serial, for example, might not be 🔥🔥🔥. It’s OK to list the low heat chapters if they’re eventually leading up to spicier content.

2) “Fresh.” This means the most recent chapter of the ongoing work, provided the chapter has not been listed in Wanton Weekly before. (If it’s a standalone, please no more than one month old. If it’s a serial that is older/complete, please list the first chapter only and tag it a “Classic Recommendation.” We consider it “new to the WW.” Just remember, older works that are not being updated anymore can only be listed once in WW.)

3) Accessible on the Web. This means no ebooks being sold for reading offline, no Kindle Unlimited. Paywall for access is fine, but it should still be for online content, not purchasing a download. Some of the sites we have linked to in the past: TheoReads.com, Wattpad, Archive of Our Own, Literotica, Patreon, Royal Road, Blogger, Wordpress, Medium, Substack, BDSM Cafe, and many many individual websites of many writers and creators.

The submission form will ask for the following:

  • Your email

  • Title of the Work (Example: “Bly’s Bondage Bonanza”)

  • Author name or pseudonym

  • Title of the chapter, episode, or installment (Ex: “Chapter 12” or “July 24, 2024 Episode”)

  • URL to the installment (Ex: https://bondage-bonanza.com/chapter-12/)

  • What type of content is it? Serial fiction, podcast, webcomic, etc…

  • Description of the work. (You may want to include heat level, genre, sexuality types, and keywords that would entice a reader.)

  • Is it free or paywalled?

  • Your Bluesky handle if you have one

F.A.Q.

  1. What’s the Wanton Weekly?

WW is a weekly email newsletter for collecting spicy sexy fiction and storytelling from around the web, specifically serial fiction, erotic short stories, webcomics, and fiction podcasts. We promote human-created erotic fiction and storytelling (no AI-generated text or narration).

  2. Who can list content in Wanton Weekly?

Any author, artist, or creator can list their own content.

  3. How spicy should content be to be included in WW?

Wanton Weekly is about erotica and spicy stories, but! Every chapter of a serial doesn’t have to have sexytimes in it, if the overall purpose and nature of the work is “mature,” “X” or “high heat".

  4. Where did the idea for WW come from?

There used to be a site called Tuesday Serial which posted a weekly roundup of serial fiction from the web, submitted by the authors, but they prohibited all erotic content. WW is intended for everything Tuesday Serial didn’t support. (TS appears to be defunct and hasn’t updated since 2023.)

  5. Is there erotic content that is not allowed in WW?

Glad you asked. We are focused on fiction only. No livestreams, cams, real life blogs or podcasts. And of course nothing illegal. And no AI-generated content, no AI-generated text, art, or narration.

  6. Oh no, I missed listing my ongoing serial last week. Can I list two chapters in one newsletter?

No, just list the most recent chapter, please!

  7. I have a serial that isn’t being updated anymore. Can I get a listing anyway?

YES—if it’s free. Submit your first chapter URL as a “classic recommendation”. You can only do this ONCE, though. No repeat listings.

  8. How do you find subscribers to WW?

Writers, artists, and writers help spread the word about WW! A rising tide lifts all boats! Please consider posting our link https://wanton-weekly.beehiiv.com/
